Albert Einstein’s areas of study were physics and math. He developed the special and general theories of relativity. He won the Nobel Prize for physics for his explanation of the photoelectric effect.

Einstein could not find a teaching position and began to work in a Bern Patent office. In between analyzing patent applications, he developed his work in special relativity and other areas of physics.
